Chelsea Smith has been a Jefferson City, MO Newborn Photographer since 2018 and knows the importance of documenting and preserving those memories. The Russellville, MO studio is a welcoming space for Newborn Sessions or they can be held in the comfort of your home. Babies photograph best when they are around 5-12 days old - still nice and sleepy and generally cooperative for the session and because we want to avoid that 'witching hour' (haven't heard of it? Look it up!), newborn sessions are typically held mornings beginning at 9:30am. Offering consistent and quality newborn photos for the moments you don't want to miss.

In-Studio Newborn Sessions

Newborn Sessions include parent and sibling lifestyle newborn photos as well as posed photos of baby alone. Access to the client closet with wraps, outfits, props, and dresses for moms is available. Outside props or outfits for baby are generally not permitted unless approved in advance. In-Studio Newborn Sessions typically take 2-3 hours to complete. Gallery of 50+ high resolution, fully-edited images with print release for download. Prints and products available for order separately if you choose.

In-Home Newborn Sessions

In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Sessions include unposed, lifestyle-type photos and include parent and sibling photos as well as photos of baby alone. These sessions are documentary-style photos using the natural light in your home and props are generally not used. In-Home Newborn Sessions typically take about 1.5 hours to complete. Gallery of 50+ high resolution, fully-edited images with print release for download. Prints and products available for order separately if you choose. *Travel fees may apply

Fresh48 Newborn Sessions

Fresh48 Hospital Sessions are held in the hospital within the first days of baby's arrival. These sessions are documentary-style photos using the natural light in the hospital room. No newborn posing or props are used. Fresh48 Newborn Sessions typically take about 30 minutes to complete. *Travel fees may apply
